About Us
| We got married in June 2005. We knew each other for 5 years before that. It's been a long journey for us, but life has just begun. We both love to travel, we love to meet people, and we love all kinds of food. We moved to Gurgaon in July 2005, and soon reaslized that North India is one of the most easily accessible and tourist friendly places in the world. As the winter set in we decided to make the most if it and started to travel. We also searched the web for information before we set out and were somewhat dissapointed, not being able to find a one stop site with well written travelogues, beautiful pictures and lots of information. There wre sites that had one or the other but nothing that offered all. This was our starting spot. We decided to record all our trips, giving as much information as we can. We both love to photograph and equipped with a digital SLR we started to create a visually pleasing yet extremely informational site. This is how http://www.incredibleindiaphotos.com started. Then when Microsoft opened up their Live program, we decided to create this site. Hopefully in the years to come we can continue to build on this. | |
Jyothi Karthik Raja I am an Industrial Engineer by weekday. I work at Hewitt Associates in Gurgaon, India. By weekends, I transition into a traveler, leaving everything behind except for my lovely wife, some good friends and a very trustworthy camera. During the nights I am a photoshop amateur working with the hudreds of photographs we take and shortlisting just the ones that we like. It is a dual life, both of which I love. I also love to write, having wirtten for everything from now-dead web portals, to my own small newspaper to big college newspapers. Now most of my writing can be seen in my blog. My official but boring site can be accessed at http://www.karthik.info |

| Shwetha Shrivatsa I am also an engineer. I graduated with a B.E. in Electronics and Communications and then joined Infosys, one of India's biggest companies. The tried and tested way to a comfortable career. Then I got married and moved to Gurgaon, a village in North India and ofcourse keeping with my need for security I joined IBM. I must admit I was very negative about moving to the North initially, but given all the travel we have done I must say this has been great so far. I love to travel and try different cuisines. You can see some of my photos at http://www.pbase.com/shwetha. |
