Welcome  | India Diaries is a log of our journey across India We were born and brought up in India. We have lived here almost all our lives. Yet only since last year have we truly discovered the beauty that lies within this country. We often take our own country for granted. We never take the time to look around and see more than the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, since we began travelling as tourists we have managed to see a lot of India and are truly amazed. Switzerland  Our week long wedding bonanza seems to have set the tone for all future celebrations so our first anniversary was celebrated in Switzerland. Snow capped mountains, picturesque scenery, green meadows, chiming cowbells, shimmering lakes and pretty towns make Switzerland 'Paradise on Earth'. We started our dream trip aboard a Zurich bound Air Canada flight from Delhi and reached Zurich on the 4th of June 2006. Click here... for more.
Sariska National Park 
Sariska, a national park, once one of India's tiger haven, is now left with just sign boards. Even today, as you enter the park you will notice somewhat sad signs hailing the area as a Tiger Reserve. No one has seen a tiger since 2003. Unfortunate for a country whose national pride, the tiger, is fast disappearing from the wild.
The good news is, you won’t be disappointed with your trip to Sariska. Even a monkey in the wild is exciting. The undulating shades of yellow, brown and green is a treat to the eye. There are thousands of peacocks, lots of deer, sambar and nilgais to spot. Continue... |
